7.45 Chelmsford – Class 4 Handicap (1m; Racing TV)
DIXIELAND BLUES won a useful novice contest over this trip on the all-weather at Southwell in April.
This Simon and Ed Crisford-trained runner was unplaced under those same conditions on his most recent start, but that wasn't a bad run in a decent handicap and he shaped as though he may just have needed the outing, his first since being gelded.
The selection is a half-brother to the same stable's Group 2 winner Jadoomi and still has some potential.
8.45 Chelmsford – Class 6 handicap (1m 2f; Racing TV)
NIGHT TARA hasn't shown much in three starts at 7f and 1m, but she should be suited by this step up in trip and has been found a really weak race off a lowly mark for her handicap debut.
Sir Mark Prescott's runner is a half-sister to Scarlett O'Hara, who won a 1m 4f maiden and has been placed over 1m 6f in Group 3 company.
